Gateman

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Gateman/woman to oversee the entry and exit of vehicles and individuals at our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a keen eye for maintenance, and excellent communication abilities. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our premises while providing exceptional service to all visitors.

I need 2 people – 1 more days and 1 for nights

Days – 06:00am – 18:00pm – £16 an hour
Nights – 18:00pm – 06:00am £18 an hour

Duties

* Monitor and control access to the site, ensuring that only authorised personnel and vehicles are allowed entry.

* Conduct regular inspections of the premises to maintain security standards and report any maintenance issues promptly.

* Provide clear instructions and assistance to visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment.

* Maintain accurate records of all entries and exits, including vehicle details and visitor information.

* Collaborate with security personnel to implement safety protocols and respond to emergencies as needed.

* Operate company vehicles as required for site inspections or other duties, adhering to all traffic regulations.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in a management or supervisory role is preferred.

* Strong maintenance skills with the ability to identify and address basic repairs.

* Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is essential.

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.

* A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
