Are you an experienced document controller with a passion for driving digital excellence in construction projects? Our client, a leading Tier 1 main contractor, is seeking a dynamic professional to join their team and take ownership of information management across high-profile projects.

The Role

You will split your time between work on a Major £200m Project in Central London and Pre-Construction across other projects. You will have line management responsibility for a Document Controller.

As an Information Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful management and control of project-related information. Acting as the central point of contact for all matters relating to digital information management, you’ll oversee documentation control, maintain the project Common Data Environment (CDE), and ensure compliance with industry standards including BS EN ISO 19650.

This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with project teams, clients, and subcontractors, ensuring effective information flow from project initiation through to completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and maintain project information within the CDE (ASITE) and other digital systems.

* Provide training and support to project teams and supply chain members.

* Draft and maintain project Information Management Protocols (IMP).

* Ensure compliance with information exchange, security, and naming conventions.

* Monitor performance, generate reports, and deliver insights to project leaders.

* Act as the go-to contact for resolving information management issues.

* Support continuous improvement by providing feedback on systems and processes.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

* Experienced Document Controller – 8 + years experience

* Enthusiastic about information management and digital delivery.

* Experienced working with a main contractor (ideally Tier 1) in a site-based environment.

* My client have requested that we have someone that is very experienced using ASITE.

* Knowledgeable in ISO 19650 and PAS 8672 standards.

* Confident, resilient, and an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

* Proficient in IT systems, including MS Office 365 and BIM-related tools.
