Yardsman / Driver

Do you hold a Clean Driving Licence ( normal 3.5 ton) ?
Are you over 30 ( for insurance purposes ) ?
Are you happy delivering heavy goods to site ?
My client, a local timber company are looking for a reliable individual join them to cover a short Holiday Period, although if someone shines there is a possibilty or longer term work.
Ideally you will have done a similar role and be used to securing loads with straps and have a knowledge of the local area. As this is a delivery position you should expect to lift posts, panels and materials off the back of a small lorry / van at site and getting the appropriate signitures and monies sorted before moving onto the next delivery or returning to the depot.
Essentials:
* Drivig licence – Clean
* Excellent Communication Skills
* Capable of taking payment and issuing paperwork
* Fit and Healthy
* Own PPE ( toecaps etc.)
* Reliable and understanding how important your role is
