Freelance Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a fire remediation project on a residential/commercial property in East London (E14). The role requires immediate availability and a proven background in managing construction projects with a focus on safety, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day site operations for the fire remediation project.

Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure works are delivered to programme and specification.

*

Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations, carrying out regular site inspections and toolbox talks.

*

Liaise with project managers, consultants, and clients, providing regular progress updates.

*

Maintain accurate site records, permits, and compliance documentation.

*

Oversee quality control to ensure works meet required standards.

*

Identify and resolve site issues efficiently to keep the project on track.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site Manager on remediation, refurbishment, or fire safety projects.

*

Strong knowledge of building regulations and fire safety compliance.

*

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.

*

First Aid at Work certification (preferred).

*

CSCS Black or Gold card.

*

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

*

Ability to manage teams and deliver projects under tight deadlines
