Freelance Quantity Surveyor – High Rise Scheme

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a major high-rise residential scheme in Leeds. This is a short-term contract opportunity, expected to run for approximately 2–3 months, with an immediate start available.

The Role

Working closely with the project team on a live high-rise development

Managing cost control, valuations, variations, and final accounts

Preparing and assessing subcontractor payments

Supporting commercial reporting and forecasting

Ensuring all work is carried out in line with contract requirements

Requirements

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large-scale construction projects (high-rise or major residential preferred)

Strong knowledge of JCT contracts

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Available for a freelance / contract engagement in Leeds
