HGV Driver – National Distributor within the Construction Supply Sector

The Role

As a HGV Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customer sites across the West London and wider area. You'll plan your routes effectively, carry out essential vehicle checks, and liaise closely with the operations team to keep things running smoothly.

This role includes occasional warehouse support, including picking, packing, and stock checks, helping the branch operate efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

Delivering goods safely, professionally, and on time
Planning routes and verifying delivery instructions
Carrying out vehicle safety checks in line with DVSA regulations
Providing friendly, helpful customer service at every delivery point
Securing and handling goods safely within vehicle weight limits
Reporting any delivery issues, incidents, or defects promptly
Assisting in the branch when required with stock handling and housekeeping dutiesWhat We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience:

Valid HGV licence (Category C or C+E)
Driver CPC Card & Digital Tachograph Card
Experience operating a Moffett or willingness to train
Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
Professional driving experience and strong road knowledge
Commitment to safe driving and compliance with road regulationsPersonal Qualities:
