Job Title: Junior CAD Designer – Working for a Facades/ Cladding Subcontractor

Location: Coventry (Office Based)

Salary: £22,000 – £27,000 + Package

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Junior CAD Designer to join our growing Cladding and Facades team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or entry-level designer with a passion for construction and design to develop their skills within a specialist business. The successful candidate will support the design team in producing accurate CAD drawings, assisting with project detailing, and contributing to innovative building envelope solutions. This role offers hands-on experience, training, and long-term career progression within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Requirements:

Some knowledge or understanding of façade and cladding systems
Previous experience with CAD design is preferred (academic or professional)

Responsibilities:

Produce accurate CAD drawings to support project designs
Assist in the detailing of façade and cladding systems
Work closely with senior designers and project managers on technical solutions
Support the preparation of design documentation and specifications
Help with design revisions and updates throughout project stages
Ensure drawings comply with company standards and project requirements
Maintain organised drawing files and project records
