Battery Energy Storage – Grid Connections Manager

We believe Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) are key to achieving a flexible, net-zero energy future. BESS unlocks the full potential of renewable sources by storing energy when production is high and redistributing it during peak demand or low renewable output. This ensures a stable, efficient, and clean electricity supply, leveraging green technology to its fullest.

The company was launched in July 2024 as an off-shoot from a leading independent power generation specialist with over 25 years of experience in independent generation systems, including pioneering Landfill Gas to Energy (LFG) projects. In 2022, it established its battery energy storage development process, resulting in a growing pipeline of build-ready projects.

As we enter the next phase of growth, we are now recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer to support the design and delivery of our battery energy storage portfolio, taking projects through FID and into construction. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of small- to medium-scale projects, providing a dynamic environment that encourages flexibility, adaptability, and innovation.
