The Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead the operational management of the business and execute on corporate growth plans and strategy. This pivotal role will report directly to the CEO, giving you both the autonomy to act on behalf of the company and the opportunity to contribute to its long-term strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, direct, and oversee operational activities across all projects.
Manage site logistics, workforce planning, and resource allocation.
Work closely with the Owner to implement operational strategies aligned with company objectives.
Enforce compliance with company policies, codes of practice, and industry legislation.
Champion a “best in class” safety culture across all teams.
Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, setting clear goals and driving accountability.
Recruit and develop talent to strengthen the business.
Represent the company with clients, maintaining and enhancing relationships.
Build collaborative and productive relationships with both management and workforce.
Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role within the scaffold and access or construction sector.
Strong knowledge of industry standards, including TG20, SG4, NASC, and CISRS.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Proficiency in business software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
Solid understanding of regulatory and legal requirements in the sector.
