Assistant / Intermediate M&E Quantity Surveyor – Cambridge

We are working with a well-established, highly regarded M&E contractor with over 25 years of experience delivering high-quality building services projects across the UK. They are now looking to recruit an Assistant to Intermediate M&E Quantity Surveyor for their Cambridge office. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to progress their career while working on a flagship mixed-use development, supporting an experienced Senior QS.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing tender documents, budgets, and bills of quantities.

*

Support the Senior QS and commercial team in managing project costs and contracts.

*

Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost reporting.

*

Monitor and report on project financial performance.

*

Assist in the preparation of final accounts and variations.

Qualifications and Skills:

*

Degree, HNC, or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.

*

Some experience in the M&E sector, either on-site or in a commercial/estimating role.

*

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

*

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

*

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of estimating software is a plus.
