Options Resourcing is representing a growing Bristol based contractor looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager with a strong understanding of the construction industry. You'll combine market insight with hands-on relationship building to win new business, grow our client base, and boost our pipeline across existing new build, refurbishment, maintenance sectors, as well as exploring opportunities in new markets.

Your mission:
Research and understand local/regional markets, industry competition, and growth areas.
Identify and target high-potential clients with strategic sales campaigns.
Grow and maintain a healthy pipeline through direct calls, networking events, and proactive outreach.
Manage inbound enquiries from first contact through to conversion.
Develop compelling tenders and proposals tailored to client needs.
Nurture long-term relationships with existing clients to maximise repeat business.
Contribute to marketing content for social media, events, and campaigns.

On the operational side, you will:
Track and progress all leads, tenders, and opportunities using CRM tools.
Complete PQQs, bid writing, and tender submissions from start to finish.
Monitor and analyse success rates, providing feedback to the team.
Report weekly on activity and sales forecasts to the Commercial Director.

You'll thrive if you have:
Proven business development experience in the construction sector.
Strong communication and networking skills.
A commercial mindset with the ability to spot and seize opportunities.
Experience managing the tender process from research to submission.
