About the role
This role is well-suited to a Quantity Surveyor looking to take ownership of their work and develop strong client relationships within Scotland’s diverse construction market. The position offers the opportunity to influence projects from early feasibility through to final account, while providing strategic advice and cost management expertise to a wide range of clients.

Key responsibilities:

* Preparation of accurate cost plans, estimates and feasibility studies

* Tender and contract documentation under JCT and NEC contracts

* Procurement advice and cost control throughout the project lifecycle

* Risk management and value engineering exercises

* Reporting on project progress, costs and forecasts for clients and stakeholders

Candidate requirements:

* MRICS qualified or progressing towards accreditation

* Consultancy-side experience within construction essential

* Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability

* Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills

About the Salary

The role offers a competitive salary of up to £75,000 depending on experience, plus benefits including pension contributions, professional fees paid, structured career progression, and opportunities for ongoing training and development within a supportive consultancy environment.
