We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a £300k refurbishment project on a substation in Oxford. This is a 20-week freelance role, ideal for a manager with a strong background in refurbishment and coordination of multiple trades.

Project Scope:

Structural steel alterations

*

Demolition works

*

Brickwork packages

*

Cladding installation

*

Electrical installation

Responsibilities:

*

Oversee day-to-day site operations and subcontractor management

*

Ensure works are delivered safely, to programme, and to specification

*

Manage site H&S in line with company and statutory requirements

*

Coordinate trades and monitor quality of workmanship

*

Report progress to the Project Manager / client

Requirements:

*

Proven experience managing refurbishment projects £250k+

*

Strong knowledge of steel, demolition, brickwork, cladding, and M&E coordination

*

SMSTS, CSCS (Black/White), and First Aid

*

Excellent organisational and communication skills
