Senior Project Manager
A respected construction consultancy based in Birmingham is looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to lead a range of complex and high-value schemes across the Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to take on greater responsibility and contribute to major developments within the commercial, education, and residential sectors.
The successful Senior Project Manager will join a team known for its technical expertise and collaborative approach. As a Senior Project Manager, you'll take ownership of multiple projects at varying stages, managing teams and ensuring delivery aligns with client expectations. This role would suit a Senior Project Manager with strong leadership qualities and a background in consultancy or client-side project delivery.
The Senior Project Manager's role
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and procurement through to handover and post-completion. You'll oversee project teams, manage risk, and ensure cost, quality, and programme targets are met.
Acting as the key point of contact for clients, the Senior Project Manager will also be expected to build strong relationships, offer strategic guidance, and manage multiple stakeholders. The ability to lead meetings, manage consultants, and drive performance will be essential.
The Senior Project Manager
5+ years' experience in a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager role within construction
Proven track record delivering projects within a consultancy or client-side environment
Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar
Chartered or working towards chartership with RICS, CIOB, or APM
Strong leadership, client-facing, and problem-solving skills
