Offering the successful Building Surveyor the opportunity to work across prime commercial portfolios, with a clear pathway to progress their career while playing a key role in the growth of the business unit.

Their strong client base includes both commercial landlords and public sector bodies, and their work spans surveys, refurbishment projects, dilapidations, and planned maintenance programmes across Central and Greater London.

The Chartered Building Surveyor's Role

Working as a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be client-facing and a key point of contact for stakeholders across commercial assets. Your day-to-day role will encompass a broad variety of surveying services, from delivering surveys and reports to managing construction projects ranging from feasibility through to completion.

In addition to technical delivery, you will also take on leadership responsibilities – mentoring and developing junior surveyors, supporting business unit directors in delivering objectives, and contributing to business growth through bid preparation and service management.

The Successful Chartered Building Surveyor Will Have

Qualifications:

MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) – essential

Knowledge and Attributes:

Broad, in-depth Building Surveying experience post-MRICS

Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and procurement strategies

Confident in administering contracts as both Contract Administrator and Employers Agent

Clear understanding of legislation impacting building contracts

Excellent client-facing and communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong organisational, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities

Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate surveyors within the team

Commercially aware, with the ability to deliver for profit
