The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and meticulous Quantity Surveyor to join their dedicated team. This is a key position that will support the successful delivery of our projects by ensuring cost-effective planning and financial control from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of cost estimation and budgeting for conservation and restoration projects
*
Conduct cost analysis, risk management, and value engineering
*
Prepare and monitor project cash flows and reports
*
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal project teams
*
Oversee procurement processes and contract administration
*
Ensure projects remain within budget and timelines
*
Provide accurate valuations and manage interim/final accounts
What They're Looking For
*
5–8 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably within restoration, conservation, or heritage construction
*
Solid knowledge of construction contracts and cost control procedures
*
Strong communication and negotiation skills
*
High attention to detail and a methodical approach
*
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple projects
*
A degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (or equivalent experience)
