Temporary Site Engineer
Time 4 Recruitment have an opportunity for an experienced Temporary Site Engineer for two weeks Holiday Cover on a warehouse project in Avonmouth.
The role of Temporary Site Engineer will start Thursday 4th September to Tuesday 16th September 2025
You Must be able to start Thursday 4th September to be considered for this role !!!
As Temporary Site Engineer you will be working on a warehouse project and will be involved in the groundworks package including and steel frame.
Thursday 4th and Friday 5th September will be a handover. Monday 8th September to Friday 12th will be a full working week – Monday 15th to Tuesday 16th September will be a handover back.
Site Engineer Role Requirements:
• You must be able to understand the project requirements (drawings, specifications, etc) and be able to provide setting out information to the both the workforce and management in a suitable clear, concise and timely manner.
• Quality check accuracy of construction operations to ensure compliance with provided information, seek and provide clarification/guidance where required.
• Be able to ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded through compliance and management of the Inspection and Test Plan and accurate recording of As-Built information. Be able to prepare reports, method statements, risk assessments and approval documents.
• Organise, supervise and manage site activities in line with RAMS, ensuring a high standard of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Provide input to proposals, work schedules, value engineering and general improvements. Assist the site team with running and managing site to deliver the project to a high standard.
• You must ensure adherence to legal requirements and company procedures are met all times. .
• Proactively seek to improve safety standards and promote a positive safety culture.
• Be sufficiently aware of contractual requirements – clarify where necessary including maintaining accurate records to assist in commercial recovery where appropriate
• Identify problems and seek the most efficient construction solutions
Experience/ qualifications required
• SMSTS
• CSCS
• Able to use Leica / GPS/ Equipment.
• Experience of working as a Site Engineer on construction/ civils projects.
• Knowledge of civils, drainage infrastructure, foundations and Steel Frame
• 3 years plus experience on similar projects
