Quantity Surveyor

GVR Solutions are currently representing a specialist drylining contractor who are seeking to appoint an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team at their office in the City of London.

The successful candidate will support the commercial management of drylining and interiors projects, ensuring accurate cost control, valuations, and financial reporting. Working closely with senior colleagues, this role offers exposure to high-profile projects across London and provides an excellent platform for professional development.

Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor:

Assisting with cost planning, measurement, and preparation of valuations

Supporting the procurement and management of subcontractors

*

Preparing, submitting, and agreeing interim applications and variations

*

Monitoring budgets, forecasts, and financial performance against targets

*

Contributing to the preparation of final accounts and commercial reports

Requirements of the Quantity Surveyor:

*

3–5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within drylining or interior fit-out

*

Strong commercial and contractual knowledge with excellent numerical skills

*

Proficient in MS Office and relevant measurement software

*

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (preferred)

*

Professional, diligent, and able to work effectively within a team environment
