Mechanical Engineer / Construction Manager – Substation Project
📍 Brampton, Cumbria | 💷 £450 per day (Ltd or CIS) | 📆 Contract until end of 2026

We’re supporting a leading Tier 1 M&E Contractor who require an experienced Mechanical Engineer / Construction Manager to oversee the installation of a new £5m mechanical package on a major sub-station project in Brampton, Cumbria.

The Role:

Manage and oversee all aspects of the mechanical installation for a new-build sub-station.

Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure delivery to programme.

*

Ensure works are completed to high safety, quality, and compliance standards.

*

Drive progress, resolve technical issues, and oversee project reporting.

The Candidate:

*

Strong mechanical background with proven sub-station project experience.

*

Previous experience in a construction management / engineering capacity.

*

Excellent technical, organisational, and communication skills.

*

Ability to manage subcontractor performance and deliver to tight deadlines.

Package:

*

Contract until end of 2026.

*

£450 per day (Ltd or CIS).
