Business Development Coordinator – Aggregates / Construction Waste
Basic Salary £38,000 plus incentive-based targets
Ideally Based in or around Wetherby, Leeds, York, Harrogate areas.

Role & Responsibilities of the Business Development Coordinator
* As business development Coordinator you will play a key support role within the business development team.
* Reporting to the Construction Business Development manager you will ensure business plan revenue targets are met.
* Manage the process of securing and retaining profitable sales and commercial contracts for the construction division.
* Expand the service to new clients and markets.
* Cold calling and prospecting new clients in current and new markets to develop leads for the Business development managers.
* Self-generated leads and reapproach old dormant accounts from CRM.
* Utilise the new CRM system "Monday" ensuring leads are actioned and it is kept up to date.
* Market research to identify potential clients and trends.
* Provide administrative support such as tracking proposals and handling workflow.
Responsibilities:
* Support the Business Development Managers by developing leads through prospecting new businesses.
* Call on key contacts at target companies to assess and qualify their need for services
* Pursue warm leads provided by marketing.
* Manage incoming sales enquires created via direct marketing, social media and web campaigns.
* Keep CRM system up to date with all your client communications.
* Develop a sales plan in conjunction with BDMs to drive new business leads.
* Account management of existing clients to achieve a continuing/expanding business relationship.
* Maintain and develop a pipeline of new business, projects and provide accurate and detailed updates regarding customer performance and pipeline progress to contribute to weekly review calls.
* Preparation of commercial proposals, quotations, functional descriptions
* Ensure compliance with the relevant environmental permits, regulatory guidance, company management system and the company’s Standard Operating System (SOP).
Experience & knowledge required:
* Technically / technology savvy with all social media platforms such as LinkedIn.
* The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
* Demonstrated skill in all facets of sales process (including prospecting, nurturing, follow-up, follow-through, negotiating, closing and attention to detail)
* Proven ability to collaboratively team up with highly credentialed service delivery professionals to nourish relationships and close sales.
* Confident to get past gatekeepers as resilient to knock backs.
* Direct working experience selling into the construction / waste industry, builders’ merchants or plant hire would be advantageous.
* Proficiency with computer tools, including CRM software such as "Monday" and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Preferred qualification Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in sales or marketing
