Salary: £38-42,000 DOE

A forward-thinking architectural studio is seeking a talented and creative Architect to join its growing team. The role is ideal for someone with a strong design vision, who thrives on conceptual thinking, enjoys developing innovative solutions, and is passionate about shaping high-quality, inspiring architecture. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver design excellence across a range of ambitious residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes. With a strong reputation for creativity and delivery, the studio offers the opportunity to contribute to projects from early concept through to planning and beyond, playing a pivotal role in design direction and innovation.

Daily Duties

Lead and contribute to the creative design process from concept through to RIBA Stages 2-3

Develop high-quality design proposals, drawings, and visual presentations

Collaborate closely with clients to understand and interpret project aspirations

Work with consultants and internal teams to ensure design integrity is maintained through project development

Support planning applications with clear, well-presented design documentation

Contribute to design reviews, workshops, and collaborative brainstorming sessions

Maintain awareness of current architectural trends, sustainability strategies, and innovative design practices

Mentor and inspire junior team members, fostering a culture of design excellence

Ideal Candidate

ARB-registered architect with strong post-Part 3 experience

A portfolio demonstrating creativity, conceptual strength, and design quality

Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and design standards

Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with 3D visualisation software is advantageous

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders

Confident working independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Passionate about design innovation, sustainability, and placemaking

Motivated, proactive, and capable of managing time and multiple design priorities effectively
