We are working with a leading Tier 1 main building contractor who are seeking a Building Services Manager with an electrical background to join their team on a flagship £300m project in Cardiff.

The Role:

Reporting directly to the MEP Lead on a major new-build scheme.

*

Managing the electrical building services package across all aspects of the project lifecycle.

*

Coordinating design, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities.

*

Overseeing subcontractors and ensuring work is delivered to programme, quality, and H&S standards.

*

Liaising with stakeholders, consultants, and the wider project team.

*

Supporting value engineering, problem solving, and ensuring technical compliance.

The Person:

*

Strong background in building services, ideally degree or HNC/HND qualified in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

*

Previous experience in a Building Services Manager role, or as a Senior Electrical Engineer looking to step up.

*

Proven track record on large-scale construction projects (major commercial, healthcare, education, or mixed-use schemes).

*

Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
