Freelance Earthworks Site Engineer

Duration: circa 16 weeks

I am looking for an experienced Freelance Earthworks Site Engineer to support a range of earthworks, muck-shift and remediation projects across the Yorkshire and Humber area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to work with leading contractors on high-profile infrastructure and remediation schemes.

Role Responsibilities:
• Setting out for earthworks, muck-shift and remediation operations.
• Working with Trimble GPS and machine control systems.
• Using N4ce software for setting out, design interrogation and reporting.
• Carrying out accurate volume calculations and producing associated reports.
• Ensuring works are delivered to design, quality and safety standards.
• Liaising with site management, subcontractors and the commercial team.

Requirements:
• Proven background as a Site Engineer in earthworks/muck-shift/remediation projects.
• Proficient in Trimble GPS and machine control systems.
• Competent user of N4ce software.
• Strong experience in volume calculations.
• CSCS card (preferred).
• Flexibility to work on different projects across Yorkshire and Humber Regions

Contract Details:
• Freelance / Outside IR35
• Competitive day rate – DOE.
• Long-term contract opportunities available.
