Engineering Manager – Bard Pharmaceuticals, Cambridge

Salary: Up to £65,000 + Car Allowance

Hours: Mon-Fri, 08:00-17:00 (flexible)

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Our client is hiring a hands-on, commercially savvy Engineering Manager to lead a team of 12 engineers and a maintenance planner at a fast-paced pharmaceutical site. You'll oversee critical systems, drive performance, and ensure compliance in a high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage engineering operations and team performance

Ensure safe, compliant maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems

Build strong client relationships and manage contractors

Support budgeting, reporting, and continuous improvement

What You'll Need

ONC/BTEC or apprenticeship in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

Proven leadership in critical environments

Strong technical and commercial acumen

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Pharma experience preferred. Occasional weekend work may apply. Candidates should ideally be available within one month.
