Site Manager
As the Small Works Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a single project/site. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage materials, and ensure that works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with a strong background in construction management and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations.
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and trades.
Plan and monitor programme of works to meet deadlines.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
Maintain accurate site records, reporting progress to the Project Manager.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standard. Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally in small works, refurbishment, or fit-out.
Strong knowledge of construction processes and health & safety regulations.
SMSTS or SSSTS certification (essential).
CSCS card (essential).
First Aid at Work qualification (preferred).
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to lead, motivate and coordinate subcontractors and trades
