ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of their construction projects. You’ll work closely with the project team, clients, and subcontractors to ensure value for money while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents

*

Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor/supplier quotes and contracts

*

Monitor project progress and control costs throughout the lifecycle

*

Manage interim valuations, final accounts, and variations

*

Prepare reports and advise on commercial risk

*

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulations

REQUIREMENTS

*

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contracting environment

*

Strong knowledge of construction contracts (JCT/NEC)

*

Excellent analytical and numerical skills

*

Strong communication and negotiation skills

*

Relevant degree (e.g. Quantity Surveying, Construction Management) or equivalent experience
