Overview
We’re supporting a leading project controls consultancy looking for a highly skilled Senior Scheduler to join their London team. This is an opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most exciting and technically complex developments, spanning data centres, large-scale residential schemes, major infrastructure projects, and mission-critical facilities.

You’ll play a key role within a collaborative planning team, taking ownership of project programmes from early design stages through to successful delivery.

The Role

Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive construction schedules for multiple concurrent projects.

Partner with Project Managers, engineers, and senior stakeholders to define work breakdown structures, resource requirements, and achievable timelines.

Analyse critical paths, sequencing, and interdependencies, offering strategic solutions to mitigate delays.

Conduct schedule risk assessments and ensure proactive responses to potential issues.

Produce clear, concise, and actionable progress reports for both internal teams and client stakeholders.

Support change management processes, ensuring all programme impacts are assessed, recorded, and communicated effectively.

Use scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project to manage live data and reporting.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, and reporting standards.

About You

Proven experience as a Scheduler or Senior Scheduler on complex, multi-phased construction projects.

Background in sectors such as data centres, infrastructure, mission-critical facilities, or residential developments.

Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and other planning tools.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret, present, and communicate complex schedule data clearly.

Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and senior decision-makers.

Relevant qualifications in project planning, scheduling, or engineering (e.g. APMP, AACE, PMI-SP) are advantageous.
