We're representing a growing Fit Out & Refurbishment contractor who are looking to add an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience on CAT A, CAT B and office fit out projects across London, with values from £500k up to £10m. You'll work directly alongside an experienced QS team, giving you exposure to the full project lifecycle.

Role Overview:

Assisting with cost plans, valuations and variations

Supporting procurement and subcontractor management

Helping to prepare tenders and contract documentation

Working closely with Senior/Intermediate QSs to develop your commercial skills

Keeping projects on track with budgets and deadlines

What's on offer:

Salary £30,000 – £40,000 (DOE) + benefits

Full APC support if you're working towards RICS chartership

Clear route to progress into an Intermediate QS role

What we're looking for:

Some experience as a Trainee/Assistant QS (ideally in fit out or refurbishment)

Good knowledge of construction processes and contracts (JCT preferred)

Degree-qualified or working towards it (QS / Commercial Management)

Eager to learn, proactive and confident in a client-facing role
