Location: Romford office, with travel to sites across London and the UK
Salary: £50,000–£55,000 + pension, healthcare & benefits

A respected and fast-growing consultancy, operating within the UK fit out industry, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. With over 30 years in the sector and exciting growth plans ahead, this is an opportunity to become part of a dynamic business delivering high-quality fit out projects across commercial, healthcare, veterinary, and retail sectors.
About the Role:
This role is focused on consultancy-side project delivery, managing fit out projects from inception to completion. You’ll be based in Romford, with regular site visits in and around London.
The successful candidate will need to hit the ground running, taking ownership of projects from day one. You’ll lead on planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full project lifecycle from pre-contract planning through to final completion.

Develop project documentation including briefs, programmes, and risk registers.
*
Lead and coordinate project teams, contractors, and suppliers.
*
Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders.
*
Monitor progress, report regularly, and adapt plans where necessary.
*
Assist with cost control, tendering, and minor works budgeting.
*
Ensure projects are completed safely and to the required quality.
About You:
*
Proven experience in project management within a consultancy, particularly in fit out environments.
*
Ability to run multiple fast-paced projects autonomously.
*
Client-facing and confident in representing the consultancy.
*
Strong communicator with solid organisational and problem-solving skills.
*
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with MS Project is advantageous.
*
A construction-related degree is preferred, though not essential.
*
Working towards or holding a professional accreditation (RICS, APM, CIOB) is desirable.
