Project Manager – Mechanical Bias Contractor – Central London
Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 Basic + Package (Depending on experience)

We are currently working with a highly reputable and fast-growing Mechanical & Electrical Contractor based in Central London, who are seeking an ambitious and proactive Project Manager to join their team.

The Role
As a Project Manager, you will take responsibility for either a single large project or a portfolio of smaller projects, managing them from pre-construction through to delivery. You’ll be expected to take a hands-on approach to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
This is a client-facing position requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, teams and technical packages concurrently.
Key Responsibilities:

Full project ownership from start to finish, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to specification
*
Coordination and management of engineers, sub-contractors and trades
*
Development and management of detailed programmes of works and commissioning schedules
*
Preparation of monthly progress reports and cost reports with the support of a Project Quantity Surveyor
*
Commercial responsibility for assigned projects, including procurement of materials, equipment and subcontractors
*
Production of technical submittals, RFIs, method statements and contractual documentation
*
Oversight of M&E coordinated service drawings
*
Act as the primary contact for clients and building contractors throughout the project lifecycle
*
Maintain a strong focus on health & safety across sites
*
Contribute to pre-construction activities including tender submissions
*
Foster long-term relationships with clients to secure repeat business
*
Flexibility to adapt and support broader business objectives as needed
Requirements:
*
Proven experience managing M&E projects (ideally mechanical bias) within sectors such as commercial fit-out, residential, or education
*
Strong understanding of M&E coordination and delivery processes
*
Excellent project planning and organisational skills
*
Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience
*
A team player with strong communication and leadership skills
*
Client-facing experience and ability to build trust and long-term partnerships
Package & Benefits:

Basic Salary range: £55,000 – £70,000 (depending on experience)
*
Package includes travel allowance, pension and bonus
*
Holidays: 25 days annual leave + public holidays
*
Hours: 8.30 am – 5.30 pm (Mon-Fri)
