Revit/BIM Technician

A busy multi-disciplined design agency based near Colchester are looking to recruit a Revit/BIM Technician to join their team. Working from a design pack you will work on your own or within a small team on both large and small projects. If you have work-based Revit/BIM experience, and your own transport then this would be the ideal fit.

Duties

Working within a team of Technicians on Large and Small projects
Utilise Revit/BIM software to produce construction packs from design packs
Ensure models and drawings comply with project standards and company CAD/BIM protocols.
Update models based on redlines, mark-ups, and design changes.
Supporting the rest of the architectural and design teams
Solve technical problems and advise the team on technical issues

Skills & Experience

Advanced software knowledge of Revit experienced in 3D modelling and drafting
Able to create Revit families.
Experience of working on Large BIM Level 2 projects would be preferable.
Experience in modelling from PointClouds
Must have a good knowledge of construction
Personable with good communication skills and a high level of spoken and written English
Able to work on initiative with a consultative approach
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is preferred

Hours 8.30am – 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am – 4.30pm Friday with ½ hour lunch.
