Salary/Benefits: £28k – £42k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a leading name within the Building Services and Compliance industry, with a nationwide presence and busy client portfolio. They are seeking a hardworking Fire Stopping Engineer in the North West of England, to cover new and existing client contracts. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge as well as a comprehensive skillset. Experience / Qualifications:
– Must have strong experience working as a Fire Stopping / Passive Fire Engineer
– It is essential to hold the FIRAS ticket
– Ideally will hold the NVQ Level 2 in Fire Stopping
– Strong compliance guideline knowledge
– Flexible to travel in line with company requirements
– Good IT and literacy skills
The Role:
– Installing fire stopping systems, such as: batt, mastic, fire resistant sealants, firestop blocks
– Hanging fire curtains
– Conducting compartmentation surveys
– Inspecting existing and new installations, to ensure that they are functional and fitted correctly
– Identifying required remedial duties and actioning
– Interpreting technical drawings
– Working to agreed deadlines
– Ensuring to wear correct PPE at all times
– Completing regular service reports
