Location: Redditch, West Midlands
Salary/Benefits: £25k – £34k + Training & Benefits
Our client is looking for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to cover contracts in the Midlands region. Applicants will be expected to complete a variety of ACOP L8 compliance duties in a timely manner and to a high standard. The company is a respected and well-known outfit, with excellent further training and progression opportunities. They are able to offer good routes into plumbing, water treatment and legionella risk assessing, so this is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful outfit. You will be travelling around: Redditch, Bromsgrove, Droitwich Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Coventry, Rugby, Daventry, Hinckley, Leicester, Loughborough, Coalville, Swadlincote, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Burton upon Trent, Derby, Nottingham, Cannock, Rugeley, Stafford, Penkridge, Wolverhampton, Dudley, West Bromwich, Stourbridge, Halesowen, Kidderminster, Telford, Worcester.
Experience / Qualifications:
– Strong hands-on experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
– Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
– Experience working across a range of: commercial, local authority and domestic client sites
– Comfortable using IT software to complete reports
– Good literacy and numeracy skills
– Hardworking attitude
The Role:
– Showerhead descales
– TMV inspections and servicing
– Outlet and acid descales
– CWST cleans & disinfections
– Water sampling
– Temperature monitoring
– Keeping accurate records of daily tasks
– Working to agreed personal targets
– Completing tasks both independently and within teams
