Project Manager
A leading construction consultancy based in Newcastle is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Project Manager to work across a diverse portfolio of projects in both the public and private sectors, with a company offering long-term career development and progression opportunities.
As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering construction projects from inception to completion. The successful Project Manager will be involved in project planning, procurement, and cost management, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams. This role is well-suited for a Project Manager looking to step into a client-facing role with responsibility from day one.
The Project Manager's role
The Project Manager will lead and manage projects across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare, and education. You will be responsible for preparing project briefs, managing programmes, monitoring budgets, and ensuring successful project delivery in line with client expectations. The consultancy places a strong emphasis on quality, collaboration, and delivering value throughout the construction process.
Day-to-day duties will include coordinating internal teams, liaising with external stakeholders, managing risk, and producing project documentation. The Project Manager will also contribute to business development by supporting tenders and identifying new opportunities with existing clients.
The Project Manager
A degree in a construction-related discipline (e.g. Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering)
Proven experience working as a Project Manager within a consultancy environment
Understanding of construction processes and project lifecycles
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ideally working towards or already achieved chartership (e.g. RICS, APM, CIOB)
Proficiency in project management tools and reporting software

Salary between £45,000 – £55,000 depending on experience
Clear route to progression within a growing consultancy
