About the Company
My client is a growing consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering cost management and employer’s agent services across the residential sector. They operate on a wide range of schemes including Build to Rent (BTR), Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), co-living, and later living projects, covering both new build and refurbishment. As a smaller, dynamic business, they offer Assistant Quantity Surveyors the chance to gain early responsibility, exposure to all stages of the project lifecycle, and close mentorship from experienced senior staff.
They are now seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team and support the delivery of high-profile projects while developing towards chartership.
About The Role
The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive team, gaining hands-on experience across multiple projects, with responsibilities including:

Assisting with the preparation of cost plans and budgets.
*
Supporting tender processes and procurement advice.
*
Assisting with contract administration and employer’s agent duties.
*
Preparing valuations, variations, and final account information under supervision.
*
Supporting senior colleagues in maintaining and developing client relationships.
*
Contributing to business development initiatives as experience grows.
About the Requirments
*
1–3 years’ experience in a consultancy or PQS environment (graduates with some placement experience will also be considered).
*
Good understanding of pre- and post-contract QS duties.
*
Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to learn.
*
Strong communication skills, with confidence to engage with clients and colleagues.
*
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or working towards qualification.
*
Ambition to progress APC training and achieve RICS chartership (full support provided).
