Solar Farm Project (Holiday Cover)
Location: Near Drax Power Station, Selby
Duration: 2 Weeks (Holiday Cover) 11th – 29th September

I am looing for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to provide holiday cover on a large-scale solar farm project near Selby. This is a hands-on role overseeing site operations, with a strong emphasis on Health & Safety and compliance with CDM regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with CDM regulations
• Manage company H&S policies.
• Carry out regular site inspections, identifying and addressing any issues.
• Liaise with subcontractors and ensure safe systems of work are in place.
• Maintain accurate site records and daily reports.
• Support the project team in ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction projects
• Strong working knowledge of CDM regulations and health & safety management.
• Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black/White), and First Aid at Work certifications.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high safety standards on site.

• Rate: Competitive day rate (freelance / CIS)
