Location: Oxfordshire (projects across Oxfordshire, the Cotswolds & Berkshire)

Our client is a highly respected main contractor based in Oxfordshire, specialising in high-end residential refurbishments and new-build projects across Oxfordshire, the Cotswolds, and Berkshire. With a strong reputation for delivering exceptional quality and detail, they are now seeking an experienced Working Groundworks Foreman to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily groundworks operations on-site.

*

Lead and work alongside site operatives, ensuring tasks are completed to the highest standard.

*

Set out, measure, and oversee all aspects of groundworks including drainage, foundations, services, kerbing, paving, and external works.

*

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.

*

Monitor progress, quality, and productivity, reporting to the Site Manager/Project Manager.

*

Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades on-site.

*

Maintain accurate site records and communicate effectively with management.

*

Proactively solve problems and ensure projects remain on schedule.

Key Requirements / Qualifications:

*

Proven experience as a Groundworks Foreman (working foreman role).

*

Strong background in groundworks on high-end residential projects.

*

Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

*

CSCS card (Gold/Blue minimum).

*

SSSTS or SMSTS certification (preferred).

*

CPCS or NPORS tickets (e.g. Excavator, Dumper, Roller) highly desirable.

*

Strong leadership and communication skills.

*

Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

*

Full UK Driving Licence.
