About the Role

Transport for London (Trams) is seeking an experienced Paver Slab Layer to join our team on a short-term contract. You will be responsible for slab laying, paving, and concrete repair tasks to ensure high-quality and durable finishes across projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lay slabs and complete paving works according to project specifications

Perform concrete repair and maintenance as required

Maintain high standards of workmanship within project timelines

Follow all health and safety regulations on-site

Required Qualifications & Experience

Valid CSCS certification

Trams Safety Awareness ticket (preferable if already held, otherwise required before starting)

Previous experience in slab laying, paving, and concrete repair

Skills & Knowledge

Proficiency in slab laying techniques

Ability to perform concrete repairs effectively

Strong understanding of paving processes

Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials

Working Conditions & Shifts

Shift times: 07:30 – 15:00 (7.5 hours per day)

Contract length: Approximately 2 weeks

Outdoor work in varying weather conditions

Manual, physically demanding role

Full orange PPE required
