Quantity Surveyor
Our client is a specialist contractor delivering high-voltage substation works and renewable energy projects across the UK. They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team and play a key role in supporting the commercial delivery of their projects.
The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will provide commercial and contractual support across a portfolio of renewable and substation projects. Working closely with project teams, you'll ensure accurate cost management, reporting, and contract compliance – with the flexibility of working from home and only limited travel requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial management of energy and civils projects
Preparation and management of budgets, valuations, and cost reports
Contract administration in line with NEC contracts
Identifying risks and opportunities to maximise project value
Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and project managers
About You
Degree-qualified or experienced Quantity Surveyor
Knowledge of NEC contracts is essential
Background in civils, utilities, or energy projects desirable
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently in a remote role
