Salary: £29.85 per hour (Umbrella)We are seeking a Tenancy Enforcement Officer to join a housing association. This role is based in Clapham Park offering a hybrid working set up. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in safeguarding, understanding legal processes and legislation, and extensive experience in handling Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) cases.
Day-to-day of the role:
Construct detailed evidential bases for legal actions, prepare cases, gather evidence, and prepare draft witness statements and notices of seeking possession.
Attend court as the lead witness in trials and other interim court hearings, act as a professional witness, prepare court paperwork, issue proceedings, and present cases at court in urgent injunction applications.
Oversee ASB and Tenancy Fraud cases managed by local teams, undertake regular reviews, provide advice, guidance, support, and directions to colleagues, or manage the cases according to policies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ASB and Tenancy Fraud legislation, frameworks, and best practices.
Build, manage, and sustain working relationships with key stakeholders including residents, local authorities, local police teams, and other service providers.
Represent the organisation at multi-agency or tasking meetings as required and work with teams to deliver strategic area-based solutions and community safety initiatives.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience of proactively managing complex ASB/Harassment cases from start to finish, preferably in a housing setting, while delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
Strong social housing / local authority background within ASB is essential
Experience in preparing and presenting ASB and/or subletting cases to the County Court and supporting witnesses.
Possession of a current full and valid driving license and car which can be used for business purposes.
