Location: Leicester (office-based with regular site travel)

Reports to: QA Manager & Senior Contracts Manager
A leading cladding remediation subcontractor is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to ensure the highest standards of installation are maintained across its projects. This role is key to delivering works in line with specifications, building regulations, and industry best practice. The position requires strong technical knowledge of cladding systems, meticulous attention to detail, and the authority to direct and support installation teams.
Key Responsibilities

Developing, implementing, and managing quality assurance procedures across cladding projects.

Conducting detailed site inspections to verify correct installation, compliance with drawings, and adherence to manufacturer guidelines.
*
Identifying and recording defects, non-conformances, and deviations, and ensuring timely rectification.
*
Maintaining accurate photographic and written records for QA reporting.
*
Providing technical guidance and support to site teams and installers.
*
Liaising with managers, supervisors, and clients to ensure clear communication of QA requirements.
*
Promoting a culture of quality and accountability on site.
Skills & Experience
*
Strong technical knowledge of cladding systems, including rainscreen systems, fixings, and installation methods.
*
Experience in a QA or design role within construction, preferably in cladding or façades.
*
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturer installation guides.
*
Excellent communication skills with the confidence to challenge and impose standards.
*
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and record-keeping.
*
Competence in digital QA reporting tools (e.g. SharePoint, Procore).
*
Experience of quality management systems.
*
Additional training in fire remediation, cladding systems, or façade engineering is advantageous.
