The Role

The role is to work within the clients technical department focusing on being the technical team leader overseeing the work of 4 Technical Advisors who work with the clients range of drywall, plasterboard and fire protection products to check any issues that may arise, this includes overseeing project specifications of both new build and refurbishments, giving advice on any installations issues and product queries, support inbound and outbound clients including approved contractors, architects, local authorities and surveyors, and also as a secondary focus, being the point of contact for any technical issues/questions that may arise throughout any live projects, and also provide technical drawings using computer software such as AutoCAD and Revit.The role is mixed with home and office work from within the Bristol head offices. You will look to mentor, support and grow the technical department, offering them guidance on any issues that arise.

The Candidate

The client is looking to hear from candidates who have experience of working within the construction sector ideally from a similar technician or technical advisor/team leader role. Alternatively will look at candidates with good CAD/Revit experience. Ideally the successful candidate will have building material experience but product training is provide if this is lacking.
