Groundworks Site Engineer

We are recruiting on behalf of a respected groundworks contractor based in Canterbury who is seeking a talented Groundworks Engineer to join their expanding team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of civil engineering and groundworks projects across the local area.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage groundworks projects from start to finish

*

Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

*

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and site teams to maintain smooth operations

*

Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues as they arise

*

Produce and review technical reports, method statements, and risk assessments

*

Support project planning, resource allocation, and quality control

Candidate Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Groundworks Engineer or in a similar civil engineering role

*

Strong understanding of groundworks processes and site management

*

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

*

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

*

Relevant civil engineering qualification or equivalent experience preferred

*

Knowledge of health & safety regulations and best practices
