Job Description:
A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking a Site Engineer with strong earthworks experience to support a major infrastructure package based in Bath. This is a key role on a fast-paced project involving bulk earthworks, ground remediation, and enabling works.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out for bulk excavation, cut & fill, and ground stabilisation

*

Working closely with site management and subcontractors

*

Ensuring accuracy of works to design levels and tolerances

*

Maintaining daily records, QA documentation, and as-builts

*

Monitoring materials, progress, and site safety standards

Requirements:

*

Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on earthworks or heavy civils projects

*

Proficient with Leica/Trimble GPS and AutoCAD

*

Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification

*

CSCS card (essential)

*

SMSTS or SSSTS (advantageous)

*

Ability to work independently and manage site engineering tasks under pressure
