Resident Liaison Officer (Freelance – 6 Months)
Location: Crystal Palace, London

Contract Type: Freelance (6 months)
Competitive Day Rate (DOE)

We are currently seeking a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) for a 6-month freelance contract to support an external works programme near Crystal Palace. This is an immediate start role working with a leading contractor delivering refurbishment and improvement works to occupied homes.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the main point of contact between residents and the project team during the external works programme.

*

Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants and leaseholders, ensuring regular, clear, and proactive communication.

*

Arrange and attend resident meetings, distribute letters and notices, and provide ongoing updates regarding the scope and schedule of works.

*

Handle and resolve any resident queries, complaints or concerns quickly and professionally.

*

Conduct property condition surveys and support the coordination of access for inspections and works.

*

Work closely with site management, operatives, and subcontractors to minimise disruption to residents.

Requirements:

*

Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer (or similar role) within social housing or construction projects.

*

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

*

Strong problem-solving abilities and a calm, empathetic approach when dealing with residents.

*

Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.

*

Knowledge of external works (e.g., roofing, windows, cladding, etc.) is desirable.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday
