£45,000 to £55,000 + Performance Bonus + Early Friday Finish + Training & Progression
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established subcontractor specialising in glazing, facades, and curtain walling, working on projects up to £7M across education, healthcare, commercial, and defence sectors.

In this role, you will take responsibility for a wide range of commercial duties, including preparing monthly applications, placing subcontractor orders, managing variations, reviewing contracts, chasing retentions, and agreeing final accounts. You will also attend site meetings and liaise closely with clients to ensure projects are delivered smoothly and profitably.
The ideal candidate will have experience in quantity surveying, ideally with a subcontractor, and a solid understanding of applications, valuations, and contract administration. Full training will be provided on the industry specifics.

The Role:
Preparing monthly applications and valuations
Placing orders with subcontractors and managing accounts
Reviewing and negotiating contract terms
Managing variations, retentions, and final accounts
Attending site visits and progress meetings
Office based with occasional site travel
Flexible working hours with early Friday finish
The Person:
Experience as a Quantity Surveyor
Knowledge of applications, valuations, and contract administration
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
Proactive, reliable, and able to manage own workload
Based within commutable distance of Cardiff
