Site Manager
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a live warehouse refurbishment and fit out project in Bromley-by-Bow, London. This is a fast-paced 6-week contract, ideal for someone with proven experience in managing refurbishment and fit out schemes within industrial, commercial, or logistics environments.
The contractor delivering this project is a highly regarded main contractor with a long track record in delivering complex retail, commercial, and refurbishment projects across the UK. They are known for working with major clients in live environments, ensuring projects are delivered to programme while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and quality.
The Role:
As the stand-alone Site Manager, you will take responsibility for day-to-day site management, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification. You will liaise with subcontractors, oversee site operations, and ensure minimal disruption within the live warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of site activities during the refurbishment and fit out phase.

Manage subcontractors and ensure quality, safety, and programme deadlines are met.

Ensure strict Health & Safety compliance at all times.
*
Coordinate with the project management team and provide regular progress updates.
*
Work effectively in a live warehouse environment, maintaining operational safety.
Requirements:

Previous experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment/fit out projects (industrial/retail/logistics experience preferred).
*
Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
*
Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.
*
Ability to run the project independently on site.
