Join a high-performing systems engineering team delivering a major design and build project involving multiple consultancies. This role focuses on managing technical interfaces and supporting the implementation of digital systems engineering and configuration management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage site-wide technical design interfaces across multiple disciplines.
Develop and maintain digital systems engineering models to industry best practice.
Act as Checker/Approver for engineering models within SparxEA.
Support and enforce new interface management policies and procedures.
Coordinate across engineering disciplines including civil, production, site services, and inter-project dependencies.
Identify and engage stakeholders and design partners.
Apply and refine relevant policy, procedures, operating instructions, and guidance.
Progress interface issues through to formal agreement.
Assist in configuration management processes, including baseline control and change management.
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
Background in systems engineering and interface management.
Familiarity with configuration management standards and procedures.
Strong stakeholder engagement and multidisciplinary project experience.
Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
Experience in producing technical documentation and procedural guidance.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a project delivery environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Capable of representing the engineering team to clients and partner organisations.
Proactive approach to health and safety.
Desirable:
Experience with DOORS (requirements management).
Experience with SparxEA (model-based systems engineering)
