Location: Cheltenham

Salary Expectations: £35-42,000 (DOE)

A respected and forward-thinking consultancy is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join its collaborative team. Key requirements:

Degree in Architectural Technology, or a related field (HND/HNC considered)

Significant UK-based post-graduate experience

Strong technical portfolio demonstrating commercial or industrial project work

Proficient in Revit (essential); AutoCAD knowledge advantageous

Sound knowledge of UK construction techniques, technical standards, and Building Regulations

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK

Main responsibilities:

Produce accurate, high-quality 2D and 3D technical drawings and documentation for planning, tender, and construction stages

Translate conceptual designs into coordinated technical solutions

Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery

Coordinate spatial planning with mechanical, electrical, and process engineers

Provide support across all RIBA stages (1-5)

Manage planning applications and submissions, advising clients on obligations and requirements

Ensure all documentation complies with current Building Regulations, codes, and standards

Undertake site visits, prepare observational reports, and resolve construction issues in collaboration with contractors
