Site Manager
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction and delivery of a new build retail unit in Harwich. This is a temporary role for approximately 3 months, with a possible 6 months thereafter if our client win the second phase. This is ideal for a motivated professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing retail or commercial build projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
*
Monitor progress against programme and address any issues proactively.
*
Ensure strict compliance with health & safety regulations and quality standards.
*
Maintain clear communication with the project team, client representatives, and stakeholders.
*
Oversee site documentation, including permits, risk assessments, and progress reports.
Requirements:

Previous experience as a Site Manager on retail or commercial new build projects.
*
Strong knowledge of construction processes, H&S legislation, and site management best practice.
*
Valid SMSTS, CSCS card, and First Aid at Work certification.
*
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
*
Ability to lead teams and maintain strong client relationships
